Sulitjelma is the gateway to the largest wilderness area in Northern Europe, with five national parks within reach. The area is very easily accessible, and offers adventures for grown-ups and children alike.

The history of Sulitjelma
Many people in our country know the name of Sulitjelma. They relate it to labour tradition, trade union movement, and not least, the fight for continued mining operations.

Nature and outdoor life
The Sulitjelma area stretches from lake Balvatn in the south end to the glacier Blåmannsisen in the north, from the border to Sweden eastward and to Sjønstå in the west.
